Hello sir I can't see the three dot at the upper right side of my image that allows me to use the inswapper app. Neither can I even rightclick on the image when I give the prompt through my server. However when I go to direct messages i can see the three dot when i create images and even right click on the image. Please can u help?

Hi! Did you try with --iw 5 and it still didn't work? Also make sure you use a simple clean photo - a neutral background and a high quality photo where you look into the camera. That usually helps.

hands were still wrong on both of your icecream joker pics, one had fingernails on the wrong side on the fingers, midj still hasnt fixed this issue, or for tools like kettles watering cans, spades or any impliments, sewingmachine, scissors etc...all weird and wrong

I have tried many multiples to use an image as a reference by double clicking the plus, image is added but cannot copy link, then when extremely frustrating.

@@hml When I double-click the plus it adds the image, then I go to right click it to copy the link and that option is not there, I tried the second method you demonstrated but it added for some unknown reason Blop:in front of the link. If I remove that and paste the link it then comes up and tells me it will not work with v5.2, so I change it to 5.0 and it is the same thing. Strange, have tried multiple times and same result,, well actually no result.

My generated images has almost zero resemblance with the referenced image. Is this subscription level related?

Nope, it's not. If it's only the face that isn't very similar - then watch this video for another step that fixes it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g33Ip4eumbiNjLc, if the general image is completely different - then you might be doing something wrong - check out the "uploading images" chapter in this video again - make sure you have "attachments" in the URL you copy of the image.

If you're on mobile, make sure to long press the image, if you're on desktop in the browser - click on the image, it opens, and then right click and choose "Copy image address"

In Midjourney, you cannot do "outpaint" (as it's called). You can, however, do that easily in Photoshop with Gen Fill, with DALL-E (even for images not generated with DALL-E), with Kandinsky or with Stable Diffusion.

There are a number of free alternatives as well. On our Discord you can try out Blue Willow, which is free, or you can install Stable Diffusion on your computer for free if you have a good GPU, or run it in the cloud either for free, or for cheap.

Poverty is difficult, but it's always under your control. I come from a poor family, and live in a relatively poor country, and yet with enough learning, you can always find a way. It doesn't matter where you start, what matters is the distance you're willing to overcome.

The most obvious one, is the "RLHF", or "reinforced learning through human feedback". The rating system, which is similar to the rating system that OpenAI used to train InstructGPT, allows the model to better match what a human expects - and when people rated the images, of course they didn't choose the images with the 6 fingers, so that definitely pushed that down. Also, previously they trained it on a common data set, and it seems that this time around it was mostly trained on photos, more than on general image sets. Unfortunately, Midjourney is being very secretive about how they train the model, and what's the training set, so I guess we won't know for sure.

TRying to upload image as instructed at 9:50 from web browser I keep getting the message "Please check that your URL is a direct link to an image, not a webpage." Strange as I used "copy image adress" and has resulted in the past. Any thoughts on that? (Thank you for the video, is in fact very easy to follow and learn)

If you're using the web browser, make sure you click the image first, so it will open up on your screen, before right clicking. Make sure that the URL you copied has "attachment" in the it, and that should work...

I have the $10 USD subscription, I'm trying to upload my own pics so I can generate new images with them, but for some reason I can't copy the link of the image, I right click on it and nothing happens, it doesn't even pop up any menu. Do you guys think the 10 USD subscription doesn't allow me to do a lot of image to image work . I've only done 5 or 6 image to image work.

Hey Stiven, the right click happens on your browser or the Discord app, so Midjourney has no control over it at all - not the free and not the paid version. Did you try left clicking on the image, and trying to right click on the popup? That should help...

@@StivenTowers I too ended up in the same situation. Looks like these youtubers are not explaining that part. I read some where else that we just to keep on generating until we find something that is close. I paid for subscription unnecessarily seeing these misleading videos of such youtubers.....

@Intutively In Tune As I explained, Midjourney doesn't actually take the image you give it and use it, but rather "extracts a prompt" from the image, (similar to /describe that I show in the video). So it very much depends on what are the most prominent parts of the image - the description is going to be different. It's great for images inspired from your photo - maybe a cartoon or a comic book, or changing it to a cyborg or something - but not for just using the image directly. For that, just copying/pasting your image in Photoshop would be easier :-) or, using Stable Diffusion, feed it 7-20 images of you, and then it actually learns your face and can reproduce it in almost any matter. But from one image - it just tries to "imaging" what the face of your character looks like.

@Stiven Thelover See my reply to Stiven above. Also, make sure to play with the --iw like I show in the video. With --iw 2, it definitely comes very close to the original image. It loses some of it's "creativity" though.
