Hmmm, let me add my two cents. ..my views may not be popular in a Ghanaian society, but why marry a man who was unfaithful while dating and even treated you bad when you got pregnant? What is the guarantee the man will change after marriage? As for that jealous friend, God will deal with her. But please, Ghanaian women, let's place some value on ourselves. Is a high time we demanded good behavior from our men. These types of behaviors should be unacceptable. Women are precious, cheating men should not be treated like kings, or like we can't do without. There are some men out there who respects women. Is not an achievement if you manage to get a ring from a cheater. I feel this lady deserves better. I wish she had just moved on with the second man who accepted her and her child. Lord help us. Enough said!

I like this show, but I got really sad about this story, because enduring disrespect from a cheater, then allowing them to marry you is NOT an achievement. It makes me sad because I see that is how girls are socialized in our culture. .."doing anything to keep a man" even when is clear he doesn't love or respect you. I really feel for this lady, because I think she deserves better...beautiful woman.

In this part of our world we see marriage as the ultimate achievement for women such that a woman with a PhD is not even respected once she is not married. Because of that most women here always settle for less just to have a ring on their finger.
