I just bought the Dualtop and it's everything Dagan says it is. Bloody amazing amp for the money. Solid state amps today are incredible, compared to the stuff back in the 70s and 80s. Not as good as a cranked tube amp, but they're getting there. 👍🤟

​You don't need to connect to a cab if you plug headphones in, so yes, you can use it by itself without a cab.

Agreed. You can't really beat valves just yet, but there's some bloody good solid states now. The Orange ones are particularly good. I'd bet money that the punters at a gig couldn't tell the difference. Studio's a bit different of course.
