Stick Season is a song by Noah Kahan, a song that Allie and Fionn interpret so magnificently here, discussing the loneliness, loss and change that autumn brings. Stick Season means a season in between, after the leaves have fallen and before the snow begins to cover the ground. In a statement, Woods said the song is about "aloneness, the way I find it magnified during the holidays, old endings and new beginnings, lost friendship and the older I get knowing time marching only forward. In both cases, Kahan has taken the seasonal landscape of the fall as theme to tendency drama more profound and universalistic emotions and essences.
