You can glue the string to the back of the star. You can also place the first, second and third on a shelf or on a windowsill. They can stand on their own ☺️🌲

I buy accessories in cheap decoration stores. You can use any beads or balls. If you don't have anything at home, you can make balls of aluminum foil ☺️
