They bloom in April around the Fuji area, this year the prediction is around the 14th of April for full bloom

The guide got a few things wrong. The cherry blossom at Chureito blooms around mid April, the mill at Oshino mills buckwheat (it is clearly labelled) the "temple" is a shinto shrine not a temple
