If this antique mall shop had two of the same piece, I can only imagine how much inventory they have. What a goldmine and you get to buy all these houses and accessories for reasonable prices without having to wait days and pay for shipping. Lucky you!

So many pieces!! The owner was selling his collection, which was 200 pieces and then he had all the inventory from closing stores. He was telling me he had pieces he hadn’t even put out yet. And not just Dickens and North Pole but Alpine and Christmas in the City too.

I love early North Pole. I find they mix very well with my Alpine Village houses. I love that Elfin Forge! I was tempted to buy it but it’s a larger house and I’m out of room lol. I loved seeing you display it for us. Such an amazing Dept 56 creation.

Oh that’s a great idea!! They perfectly with Alpine!! I had never seen the Elfin Forge piece before - it’s such a beautiful piece. Perfectly encapsulates the North Pole feel!

Hi spooky friend!! I was so excited to find everything!! Are you ever able to find Halloween pieces at antique malls or thrift stores? For some reason, I only ever see Christmas pieces. I think that’s so Interesting that Halloween is harder to come by? Maybe all us spooky folks hold onto Halloween forever?

Really cute! I do Halloween and my sister-in-law does Christmas. So we have both covered! I always wondered why Halloween has never had bench sitters like Christmas. Anyway, looks like you found some great pieces. Thanks for sharing!

I'm hoping to do a few village videos! I'm working on setting my display this week. I have the same issue! More buildings than space. Every year I set up a little differently, so I'm never quite sure how many pieces I'll get up until the display is finished.

My goodness what's up with this obsession with Department 56 houses? I have a huge village a d not a single house belongs to this brand and yet everything looks good together.

It’s a matter of personal preference. I personally find Dept 56 to be overall much better in quality than Lemax etc. but to each his or her own.
