At least now with pistols, if you want to land an accurate shot, you have to aim properly and not randomly spam hoping for a bullet to hit your target's head, they require more skill to be used than before. I agree for the rifles though, now sprays are just so random and all the time spent at controlling them is basically wasted...

I think deathmatch is the worst way you could "warm up" for matchmaking. Reason: In deathmatch you get an overflow of enemies wich always keeps you under pressure and full of adrenalin, where in matchmaking you have to play calmly and with your team and deathmatch just wont do it.... casual is the next best thing I think. Hey WarOwl thanks to you and Gaben for giving me the courage to again use the SG553. It has always been my favourite weapon since Source. I used to use it in my silver times, but I stopped when I got to MG because all my friends and fellow players said that "the SG is useless", "It's a silver weapon because it has a scope", "None of the pro's use it". But then one day I began to wonder why does everyone suck so much at the spraying. In my mind it seemed as easy as pull the mouse down and a little bit to the right and then do the hoopdy loop and go left, but I think that in my silver times I used the weapon so much that the spray pattern got etched into my spine. Thank you for this giving me solid proof to my friends on why I should start using the SG553 again (and also thanks Gaben for the ak nerf).
