I like that pink Lambo, but my favorite 5 pack would be Airport II. I love the tanker/Utility Truck. That casting takes me back to my childhood. The Shuttle is also really good. I gotta get me one of those.😊

The airport firetruck reminds me of an Oshkosh P-19 Fire truck! It looks like a real airport firetruck, Matchbox really knows how to disign they're rides!

I found the Airport 2, MBX Rescue 4 and MBX Construction 7 all in one store in Maine last week. I watched another KZbinrs video and there is a perforated edge on the top by the hook to open it

What’s odd is I’d think they’d be cheaper to make in correct scale bc it takes less materials too, but Matchbox and Hot Wheels have always scaled like that 😖

The 2006 purple dune buggy is a re-release. It came out in 2008. I have the same casting. It just blows my mind that I'm seeing the same casting and pain job being released 17 years later. That's crazy lol.

The Jungle Crawler might be roughly based on a 1942 Dodge Carryall. (According to the Matchbox Cars Wiki Fandom.)

I've just discovered that hotwheels make little track expansion packs compatible with MB action drivers. Have you seen these?

I have seen those - the City packs are aimed more at Hot Wheels sets but they do work for some Matchbox sets too. I wish they did actual Action Drivers roads that were two lanes and decorated like Matchbox style roads.

Love the MBX Airport II and Italian Roads five packs! I don't mind the MBX Adenture IV pack, but the Convertible Cruisers five pack is a hard pass for me. I practically have every vehicle that was released as a mainline.

I think I had 4 of the 5 for the convertible pack too ha. The Adventure pack does have some really cool releases too. Definitely a good start to the 2025 season ha!
