Honestly I never tried 2.1 deep bass so can't comment But as the name suggests if you are a bass lover you should go for deep bass Otherwise for a room this is also a great model to choose

Definitely better then s40r, s40r doesn't have vocal/dialogue clarity. Either go for this or JBL 2.1 deep bass both are great.

Depends on your preference if you are looking for some deep bass you can got for deep bass model if you like vocal more then you can go for jbl sb190

There is only one problem that it gets turned off automatically within 10-15 mins of starting! This is a serious problem as it ruins the flow of music Even after complain to JBL they are not resolving the same!

You can do it by pressing dolby button on remote 2 beeps - dolby on 4 beeps - dolby off
