For sure Jerry! That Trapper I'm not sure what's going on there. Are they getting better or was it a mistake that it has a strong pull ? It is definitely a 6 and 1/2 to 7 for sure. The strongest pull of all my Trappers. To me all their Trappers should be this strong, but it might make people with arthritis angry. Thank you for checking it out brother

Man brother big congrats on the 2k. So happy for you. And what a haul. It seems that the Mediterranean pocket worn is rubbing off on more and more people. I absolutely love it. Say Bax! My second comment for this vid. You mentioned that you will probably do a “flush” on these New Case knives that you are showcasing. I know what you are talking about with residual factory gunk contained in a brand new knife. They all need a level of attention upon receipt. Would you consider doing a demo for us on your “flush” procedure? WD-40? Canned air? How do you flush them? Thanks for your consideration.

I agree I should do that video. I usually spray them really good with WD-40 with the blades. Open to let them drain and then bust out the air compressor and blow them out. Really good of course. Wear gloves cuz it's messy then re-lube them with some good oil. The other method is to soak them in mineral oil but that can darken the bone covers. I'll have to do a video sometime. Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it.

Another good method is warm. Soapy water dry them really good by blowing them out with an air compressor and re-lubing

Well it's not stag bone or micarta. But I tell you out in the sun near a lake. Very nice. Never thought I'd like them so much until I got one in hand. And well you can never have too many 75s right? I missed the 501 drop today in elk. Not sure why they only made 100. Kind of a pricey piece. I could get a magna cut 110 and elk for cheaper. But still very cool. Thanks for checking it out Mo!

Check out the carbon steel mini trapper in black synthetic at Shepherd Hills Cutlery. $40 right now! Fit and finish is great on mine. It’s an exclusive to them. Looks better in person as opposed to pictures. Looks like ebony scales in person imo.
