So do you have to use the fm frequency to transmit sound to the car speakers or can you connect via aux cable to transmit sound? The phone transmits the mirror screen via wifi ? So basically you transmit mirror thru wifi and sound through aux from phone? Am I understanding this correctly ?

The aux connection is for sending audio to your car in case you have an audio input jack.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem of multimedia unexpectedly going to screen saver, especially when using GPS? This happens to me frequently, forcing me to restart multimedia if I want to continue using it. Or some firmware update option. I have already tried to contact the AliExpress seller but no response regarding these problems. Thanks.

Is it possible and an option to deactivate the screen saver completely to prevent this behaviour?

@@autotechchannel Unfortunately not. While using the system, the program freezes and stays on this black screen similar to a "screen saver" mode, but in reality it is a crash because even pressing on the screen does not return to the normal state, just removing it from the cigarette lighter. Another problem is that sometimes during use the FM synthesizer opens by itself, and even clicking on "home" it no longer connects to carplay, also requiring the 12v to be removed. It's a lot of daily stress with this multimedia.

You mean AUX OUT as audio Input for the car, right? :-) The only option you might have here is to use the FM transmitter functionality or by using some Bluetooth connection or maybe an SD card or USB stick. But this is untested, as I was looking for a better device with more functionality. My advice for you is to look for a better device with more connection options as well.

Hi, I need an unmodified config.ini file taken from the B500W device. I was playing with system settings on mine and bricked the unit. Anyone? Password to settings is 113266 -> Export settings

I would have loved to help, but I gave away my device. Can you summarise in a few words how you did the dump of the firmware?

@@autotechchannel Thank you for being ready to help. I did not. Firmware is some sort of Linux, probably accessible if you connect the device through USB cable. I barely pulled the config.ini file to a microSD card, modified the settings and imported the file back. It made the device inoperable, neither radio broadcast nor cable/BT connection don't work. Unfortunately was dumb enough to not make a copy 8-(

Is the settings menu still functional? Have you tried to do a factory reset?

@@autotechchannel Yup, the menu is functional, but what factory reset does is revert any custom settings I had made through the UI to the state from the ini file. I'll try changing the settings one by one to see if it makes any difference, their names are not overly meaningful, not to mention any description anywhere on the net.
