As far as I know the urbanmech isn't in the normal salvage boxes. You have to buy it separately.

so what is the difference between Alpha strike and Clan Invasion? Can you use these for both?

The Clan Invasion box has Battletech and Alpha Strike rules so can be used in both I believe.
