It looks really good. However, I wonder about the footplate. I know my family member (wheelchair bound) would find that impossible. He is used to having two separate footrests, therefor both legs being supported effortlessly. He would not be able to squash together his feet/angles/knees/thighs and hold that leg position onto that one centre plate. Just a thought. Hope this comment may be helpful to users choosing and manufacturer/s designing. Best wishes!

That is one of the reasons we have multiple different models of power wheelchairs available. The Oracle has the type of footrests you have described: quicknmobile.com/product/the-oracle-ultra-light-motorized-wheelchair/

I am going to get a light wheelchair. However I do investigate all top brands. The Fold and go can ride thru rain, can the Matrix? Will it stop working because I got stuck in a rain storm? I live in Chicago and we do have spring storms. And how about small snow showers?

Hello @allondajackson6344, Thank you for your comment and question. Our chairs are weather resistant as well. With that being said, I wonder if Fold N Go would put it in writing that the joystick controller can get stuck in a rainstorm, or be stored in wet conditions, if indeed their chairs really can get stuck in a storm. I would also wonder how long specifically would a Fold N Go chair be able to be outside, in a rainstorm? We ALWAYS recommend bringing a plastic ziplock bag when in doubt of rain. Simply put it over the joystick, and ride away! That keeps water out of the joystick components. One dirty trick some companies use, not to mention names, is saying their chairs are either "weather proof" but not disclosing what parts of the chair are weather RESISTANT and to what extent. If you would like to know more about our chairs, please feel welcome to call us, 888-701-8799, or send me an email. Resolutions@quicknmobile.com

Wonderful video. Thank you so much for the detailed views. Are the tires pneumatic or solid rubber? Does the battery have to be taken out to charge? How long does it last on a single charge?

Hello PalmBeachCitizen, thank you for our question. The tires are solid rubber, but acred so there is give (in the back tires) Per battery average is 8-12 miles, but please keep in mind, the Matrix comes with 2 batteries. So average is 16 - 24 miles.
