Unboxing a new custom blythe doll with a re-rooted scalp

Hi and welcome to little bird blythe! I know I said I wouldn't but I saw her and just couldn't resist. I saved my newest custom to share the unboxing with you guys. I hope you enjoy meeting her! Any ideas for names, as usual, please put them in the comments below!

LOL, it's certainly true to start with, I bought way too many, however there came a point last year when I actually stopped and realised my hobby had taken over to the point I wasn't enjoying the dolls anymore. I sold a huge number of them to make space and haven't bought one for ages. I still have too many! I actually think I sold this one....

Hi Rachel, she does have such lovely hair. I'm not sure I should share her ebay name without permission so I will double check she is ok with that. I know she has an etsy shop too as she does customise her own dolls but this was not one she customised herself as far as I am aware. Thanks for watching xxx

That's ok. I'm in Australia so anything in GBP or Euro is out of my price range cos of the conversion rate! I really do like the fibre scalps though, they are gorgeous.

Hi - I asked her last night if it was ok to share her ebay name, she is a private uk seller. Unfortunately she isn't doing any custom dolls herself anymore, which is a shame because they were very pretty and she had quite a unique style which I liked. Anyway she said yes so here is her name: sgil4016 she lists custom dolls and clothes fairly often and I find myself tempted by her items way too often (I got another doll from her last night!! She is a beautiful doll BUT if I got one with the eye loose inside it would have to stay that way because I afrsI'd to open the head would not know how to put her together

They can be a bit daunting to do at first and even now sometimes the eyes are a bit fiddly, it took me ages to do a doll the other day, I was all fingers and thumbs! I must have dropped my screwdriver about 20 times. 😂
