Thanks for letting us nose around in your mail! I enjoy living vicariously through the guys with channels, that can afford to get new goodies on the regular! Theres just something different about seeing them in-hand, how the tactile experience is (the sounds, the weight, fit & finish, etc!) QSP is definitely an underdog this year! Theyve got some pretty banger little fixed blade neck knives available now too! Ive definitely looked at their stuff ad-nauseum and you can see that they put that little bit of extra in all their stuff!😊

@LeonardbroNocaprio420 actually, i have been checking out a few of their.neck knives and fixed blades. You just pushed me over the edge, lol, I'm getting a couple. You are right, they are underdogs, but boy, oh boy, they make some quality knives!!! I really like them. Thanks for another excellent comment!!

G'day Chris, Yep, the Kizer Assassin is the most underrated cheap knock-about beater EDC, I put a stronger button lock spring in mine (green micarta) & changed out the bearings & mate, BOOM!!!! a truly affordable utterly reliable EDC is the Assassin. PS, Kizer stole our Koala Bear (it's an Australian Animal) they obviously adopted it with the release of the "DROP BEAR" knife (great knife S35VN medusa fat carbon or with the Ti scales in the super corrosion resistant LC200N model), & it's called the drop bear because that's what we Australians call our precious little gum leaf chewing all day sleeping bear when it gets ticked off at passersby, usually during the protective season, lol hence the Australian saying "Watch out mate!!! the drop bear will get ya!!" lol or "Watch out mate, this is Drop Bear country!!" lol anyway, cheers mate another great episode!!! Take care Chris! great knives by the way!!

Thank you for that knowledge!!!! I'm a collector of useless knowledge that will one day be useful, and I love learning little facts like that!!! When I do a drop bear episode, I'm gonna tell that very info and give you a shout-out for it!!! That is really cool, and i had no idea! Tomorrow I'm gonna tell my boys that when they wake up. They are j7st like me with that stuff. Drop Bear, lol, now it makes perfect sense! I'm glad you liked the video, BTW. The Assassin is crazy good action! Blew me away. The LT5, though, wow!!! I'm in love with it now. Oh, that Vault, check it out if you can. The raccoon is amazing, but going back over them, the Vault is really sticking out to me.
@Philippians--vz1mi9 күн бұрын
@theun-professionaldad2232 absolutely Chris, yeah the LT5 & the raccoon are most definitely on my list, I've already got the Ruike 801 or 805 lol coming the one you said was the poor man's sabenza, & as I'm never going to own a Sabenza, I thought I'd give it a shot, should be here tomorrow actually along with a Tops street scalpel & an MKM bronzed Titanium slip joint in M390 called the Root, also got the MKM Fara slip joint in M390 landing on Monday next, do yeah got a few beauties to check out lol ahhhh new knife day 😀 it's a hobby not an idol, & it's my only real source of hobby filled enjoyment so...... & trust me the Koala 🐨 Bear is more Australian than me mate lol & I've been here 46years born & raised my whole life, lol so that'll tell you how Australian the Koala 🐨 "Drop Bear" is mate 😉 😀 I used to have one living in my huge gum tree out my front door lol live on a small farm, but they don't like to hang out alone, so one day he was just gone. Cute little blighters they are, funny sound when they are mating though lol.

@Philippians--vz1mi lol! How lucky! To walk out your front door and see the beauty that is Australia, then turn and see an actual koala in your own tree! Oh my!!! I'm so envious right now! I'm so proud to be an American, but I'm a man that loves travel and loves and appreciates the many wonders of this marvel that is Creation and His touch on this planet! I want to go to Ireland so bad and see the roots of my bloodlines. To Israel and walk the path of The Cross as He took His final journey. And to Australia and see the wonderoys Outback. I was so crushed several years back when the fires did their damage to your homeland, and my heart was broke for the creatures and wildlife that was lost and displaced. It is evidence of His plan and perfect design that you all have shared back like you have. If I ever hit it big at this KZbin gig, then my first podcast about knives will be from your back yard!? Lol. How.cool would that be!!! And idea just came to mind!!! I'm gonna sit on it, but wow, I've got an idea, and I'm gonna email you one day soon, if that would be OK, and talk you through it and make a go of something. I think it's a good one, and I'll fill you in soon. Now, back to knives, hahaha, please let me know about the Root? I love MKM!! I would love feedback about all you get in and what your thoughts are? Please, please fill me in on first impressions of the 801!!?? I can't wait to hear your thoughts! Seriously, I've got an idea and I think this will be a good one!

Lol heck yes mate, your first podcast from my front yard would be very cool indeed 😅👍, you are a bother in Jesus Christ, so youd always have a cot & meals at my house mate 😀👍🙏, yep, I'll let you know what I think about everything coming in mate, Im not rich, but what I do have goes on my dog, my knives, my bike & helping those in need, I have no children so. A big idea eh? Well Im all ears as the Basset hound would say 😂, Im on skype too mate, so should ya want to do a video chat about the idea one day hit me up & we'll sort it out mate, & yes mate, thank you for your kind words about my country & country men & women regarding the fires mate, I tell you right now mate, I dont think it was possible to capture the true horror & devastating consequences of that hell-fire esk INFERNO, utterly horrific doesn't come close to describing it mate, but thank you mate. @@theun-professionaldad2232

I love your passion for knives. Makes me feel rite at home at least once or twice a day. I look at the few I have get them out open them wipe any prints off the very few I don’t use and the ones I do use get the same treatment. And go through the users and clean from the days use

@Mikesknives-i2z i love that!! I talk to.my.boys about pride of ownership, and if you won't take care of your stuff, then who will?? I'm the same way. Lol. Thank you for your kind words and great comment!!!

Man!!! Youre a mind-reader! Thought i was done commenting on this video, then you busted out the Vosteed Raccoon! Ive checked that knife out more than once on their website! Im partial to the translucent amber colored scales its available with! Youre LITERALLY without knowing in advance, reviewing and featuring 90% of the knives I myself, have been looking at, and curious about! So good!😮🎉
@theun-professionaldad22327 күн бұрын
@LeonardbroNocaprio420 that's awesome! Then we have very similar tastes. I love the Raccoon! I almost went with one with a different handle, and tbh, I probably lying should have. Still, it's an excellent knife!! Action is great. Blade shape, size overall, and everything else lol, it's overall a really good knife.

Nice video Chris. I like all the categories! I think I may also pull the trigger on that p801. 34 bucks now and a free shipping weekend on knife center. Thanks for taking the time to make theese videos and responding to comments with some time and thought. I'm in a similar boat as a stay at home Dad. My wife works 2nd shift at GM. So dinner bedtime cooking and cleaning are all my job. My boys are 10 and 11 and my daughter is 19 months. So I have my hands full. I'm the only real knife nut I know. So it's nice to have these videos to sorta "chat" and learn about knives. It's about the only place I can. So thank you. Lots of great sales going on now but I feel guilty about thinking about getting a new one. I feel like I should get a Christmas present for someone else. I saw that coldsteel Ad15 I think it's called for like 55 bucks. I'm thinking about it. Anyway cool video. I already told you about how my srk is pretty sentimental to me. My wife saw ne checking out a kershaw blur and putting it back because it was around 80 bucks and I was like no not now I don't NEED it. She told me to take the boys so she could get some girl stuff and went back and got it. She snuck it into the other bags and I found it while putting food away. I love that knife so much more than just as just a good knife! Have a blessed day. Keep up the great content and congrats on your channel growing! If their is a specific thing I can do to help it grow let me know. I'm not utube savvy.

@@none4now-k9c we have similar lives, it sounds like. I worked in sales for 20 yrs, but now I'm the Mister Mom, lol. She is a.nurse at the hospital and works nights. I do everything. Actually, to be honest, there's even more to the story and one day I'll message you and we can swap stories and dad advice. Lol. That was awesome that she did that! She.knew how.much you like it, and she was definitely sure you deserved it!! The Blur is a great knife, too! That's a great story right there. Thank you for.sharing that with me. I loved reading that. Thanks, also, for the kind words about my channel!

Hey another great video. That was like my dream Christmas morning 😅. I have been looking at almost all of these. Especially the first 4. I really like the qsp vault. I'm a country boy and that one has classic looks with a modern locking mechanism. Looks great! I love it when a knife comes super sharp! I dig that Cali also. I like the lines an the back of it. Little details like that make for a comfortable grip. Nice touch. Man oh man did that T.J. sound great when you took it out! Those are some of the better looking sencut knives. Can't beat their price. Thanks for sharing a bunch of great knives. The vault with tan micarta is the one I like. I think knifecenter has an exclusive one that looks awesome. Have a sharp day brother! Keep em coming!

I just responded, but it deleted it, lol. Yes, the Kali has a tip that's ground different and looks fantastic! What a knife. I told someone last night that even though I loved the raccoon, the more I thought about it the more I pondered it the more the Vault kept coming to my mind. It's so well built and the fit and finish are high quality. I love it! Don't sleep on the Hyrax either, the blade grind along with the colored G10 make for one.gorgeous knife. The LT5, oh my, it is so, I don't have the words actually, lol. It's that nice! Thanks as always for another great comment! I love your takes on this issue, and I look forward to your opinions. Thanks also for thinking of me when knife browsing, it's humbling and appreciated!

Nice video! I just purchased a Benchmade Mini Claymore to replace a Buck Impact that someone decided they wanted more than I did apparently. I am pretty upset about it, mostly due because that knife has traveled all over this county with me. The Mini Claymore is nice it just feels cheap to me because it's so light, I know it's not an it's all in my head. I work at the fire department and have been carrying it with me to work and it feels really nice carrying it around. Glad I found your video!!
@theun-professionaldad22322 күн бұрын
@TonyCimarosti thank you so much!!! I'm glad you're here. Welcome! I hate to hear that about your Buck! I try to practice the mentality that if they steal your shirt, then give them your coat as well. Yes, it's easier said than done, but I try. Still sucks! Don't feel bad about having the "cheap" feeling, I just did a video talking about the Deka and Bugout feeling "cheap" also. I'm sure it.willserve you well at the station house, though. Thanks for the service you do for your community! Stay safe! Thanks for an awesome comment.

@michaelfusco7446 that is so cool! I would love to see it when you're finished with it? I make knives to, but haven't in a while. I need to get back into it, for sure. The LT5 is one of the best knives I have unboxed, ever! Oh my, it gives next level a next level meaning! Lol. Thanks, as always, for the great comment!!!

Speaking of China, it makes you wonder if any new tariffs come down the pike could we see a price increase on any Chinese knives coming in.
@theun-professionaldad22325 күн бұрын
I would bet my last dollar that prices will not increase. Know why? China puts massive tarries on us, even though we don't put tarries on them. Once we do threaten it though, and they know he is serious, guess what will end? Their tarries on us! So prices may even drop a bit, hopefully. Thank you so much for an excellent comment! I can tell you pay attention to the true things that affect us all and our wallets. I love talking with people like you!! Sincerely. Thank you!!
