I think the same company waterproofed our basements. All the same products. Same fan, battery for the pump. Lol. Sweet tortoise! I'm starting to learn a thing or two about them from you here and your podcast. Thanks dude!

That’s funny- the company that did our work is called Ohio State Waterproofing. They’re one of the biggies in Northeast Ohio in the space. Do you use that basement ventilation fan? It was here when we moved in and I’ve never plugged it in. Hingebacks are amazing animals, we need more people working with them for sure!

@@twoturtletom same company! I only use the fan if I'm painting or something down there and want to try to limit the smell in the house. Never really for it's intended purpose. I wonder if they installed them as a C.Y.A. measure. I think it mostly just let's cold air into my basement. Anyways, I'm not confident that I'm ready to take on hingebacks yet, but I can always live vicariously through your content for now 🤣

I’m not planning to work extensively with Speke’s but I would like to find him a mate, in the spirit of the Kinixys Working Group. For me this will be primarily a learning experience so I can better help others that do have Speke’s.

My wife and I are the transport crew of the hinge back (Francis) that came Delaware to MATS in Baltimore who sent him on to you. I was wondering if you had an update on him??? Pretty worried about the poor guy.

He did great and is doing great! I sent Katrina a clip of unboxing him and I will be making a video telling his story as well. He’s a super tortoise and has been outgoing and he ate right away. Thank you so much for helping with him!
