In my opinion the iPhone 5s is the first “modern” iPhone. It brought an incredible jump in processing power, biometrics, and ushered in the new iOS design language that’s been the standard for a decade now. The 5s led directly to the other great iPhones that followed like the SE, 6s, X, and 12

I vividly remember looking at leaks of the 5S on GSMArena back in the day and the touch ID was such a stand out for me I made up my mind I needed to have one so I saved up over the summers doing odd jobs here and there and it finally launched in September of 2013. I bought one on launch day in space gray with 64gb storage and was over the moon with that phone. It was such a flex in school unlocking that thing using your thumb and that storage just felt enormous for the time lol. Good memories

The iPhone 5s was when Apple peaked in phone design, the only iPhone I owned. I never fell in love with any other phone like I did with the 5s. Not even the newer ones. This is the only best iPhone and this thing looks beautiful in Gold. Those were the good times when Apple actually put in effort in putting in good features and actually caring about the consumer, this is my all-time favourite phone.

@@CentralPALocos The design was one-to-one, there was no design difference. All the changes were inside the phone, like same chip as the 6s, 2GB ram instead of 1GB on the 5s.

Battery startet to swell on my iPhone 4 earlier this year. Luckily the phone was still working, so I was able to back up the pictures and data I had on it. I thrashed it afterwards, which I now sort of regret. I should have replaced the battery instead.

@@META313. actually it is likely. As someone who deals with these kinds of devices all the time, seeing a phone battery swell up after not being used for 10 years is common. I would have to look at the phone to know for sure, but just by looking at it on the video, it actually does look authentic. The only weird thing is how the IMEI is now blacklisted, that is big red flag. AT&T wouldn't randomly do that.

Можно бесплатно пробить imei/serial number на проверку первой активацию смартфона и когда он был изготовлен, чтобы выяснить какая вероятно iOS находится на смартфоне, сверив по тому времени существования iOS на рынке и выхода данного экземпляра, если конечно он ни разу не активировался на серверах apple.

maybe im just negative but I rarely believe these iPhones are still new and sealed...like in 10 years this phones never been used? why would someone buy a phone and not use it? its just not one of those things you buy and not use - and im pretty sure there's dust under the plastic on the screen.
