I used to work at Asics. Wouldn't recommend either of the quantums for running due to their weight and the lack of cushioning. They're more of a walking/lifting shoe. The only difference is the 180 has the gel on the lateral (outside) of the foot while the 360 has it in the whole shoe.

The quantum 360 and 180 are not the best running shoes because they are little heavy if you want a runner/trainer the gt 1000 and 2000 is the way to go. Also anyone else triggerd by the way he said asics.
