The blue thing is the silicon over metal iron rest. You need to place the spring over the silicone tubing down near the solenoid the keep it straight. Also you should have 5 clips to secure the hose and the electric cord spaced them out the length of your tubing. Where is your demineralizer that you should add to the bottle? Did you get an instruction book?

I just got mine but there's something I noticed and I would like to confirm if you have a similar experience. When it get hot and the red light at the switch goes off, most times the red light beeps before coming back on and it makes some kind of izz izz sound while it blinks. Please do you have the same experience or it's not normal

When the red light goes off that means the iron has reached the right temperature based on what you have dialed on the knob. About 400 degrees.

Nice video I got one and it didn't really serve me, I have couples of issue with it. Still using it though as s seamless pressing iron. I'm actually thinking of getting another, maybe I was just not lucky with mine Edited So for a year of using one, my review; I like the fact has a strong steam and the capacity is low so it uses less power, which makes it good to be used with generator I will advice you use a tape around the stream press and handle, it will come off pretty soon (saw a picture of a friends own, he also has a tape around the handle) At some point it stopped working well with direct power, had to use gen when I want to use but after like a month it started working proper again. After few months it stopped steaming. You can't use without a teflon cover because it gets so so hot. The heat controller came off, i use screwdriver to control that. And today it just stopped working, don't know why Like I said, maybe i was just not lucky with mine
