Unboxing a Webb WEH30 manual push cylinder lawnmower. How good is it?

I needed to buy a new lawnmower as my old one blew up 3 days ago.
I have often wondered if a mower with no power supply would be any good, powered only by me!...how hard are they to push?
This mower is 'green', in more ways than one.
I never see anyone using them nowadays so buying one is a gamble...maybe they aren't very effective?
Mine was delivered today so I am committed to it either way now :-)...might as well give it a go!

I wish you had included how to attach the poles and the screws. It would have been a big help. Its not that easy to work out for some of us.

Fair point. Don't worry though, you just push the wee bolt through the hole and turn the nut on the end of it, very easy.

​@@davetheraverovingtherock i have the same issue.... stuck on number 3 in the instructions. How do you connect the handle to the mower? What does the handle connect pin do? Mine doesn't move and I have No idea how this stays in put? Why doesn't anyone show how they actually assemble this mower?

Wow it is louder than I expected. I have Webb 12R which is a chain system and rear drums. I definitely prefer 12HR.

Yes, it could. I really like it, it cuts well. It has 2 drawbacks...it leaves a wide 'edge' uncut, because of the width of the wheels...and also it won't cut of height number one (lowest setting) unless the ground is dead flat. But I like mine

Me personally would use the grass collector everytime because I once used that method of leaving off the grass collector than I had a outbreak of meadow grass and ended up distributing it all over my lawn, now my lawn is in bad shape but now leason learnt I'm keeping the grass collector on for good. The End 😂

@@eyesaidthat2109 That is incorrect, it does have a cylinder as this refers to the type of blade, it doesn't have a roller, but it is still a cylinder mower as Dave said !
