@deadwolfresistance13 yah I know, I trust you not to ruin the temper, but would you send it back I can't take the risk, I would send scab my svord hog beater, svord bowie, and Bravo 3, to review, but I can't take the risk, I could probably find a metal fabricator in my town somewhere, and watch over the process making sure he dont over heat it

@wellregulated8725 overall I like the Amish Jon, I believe the least I would like is the areas by work tuff gear, but with the right edge geometry l, I would like it too, I believe the thickness behind the edge of the Amish jon and V44X, is the same mathematics. I like the handle of the Amish jon better cause my hand doesn't slip back, like it does on the V44X, the V44X handle is a little narrow compared to the Amish jon, the Amish jon fits the plam of my hand better, and it has the pistol grip style handle which I like I feel like I can rip it through objects better the AJ handle need to be modified, better to fit my middle finger, the V44X my hand jumps back when chopping I don't like that but I just need to modify, the handle with tape, then hockey tape stabilized, with liquid super glue, all knife handles could use a little modification 😁, this Christmas my knife was gonna be the hellion, but my friend wants the huge svord golok so badly, and he ain't gonna be able to get it anytime soon, so it's coming in the mail, im gonna say hay bro look at this golok he's gonna shit, and the hellion handle is skeletonised which I don't like, it's like Zeke made it like that cause I hate skeletonised knives, it's not what I stand for, even though I hope I get it someday, good job you went with a solid handle, and great screw placemen, and because my friend wants a huge clever style knife imma make him one, out of true 5160 hahaha, I just need his help , he's gonna be the sledgehammer guy, while I hold the hot cut chisel quench it in water, hope u dont hear a ting, I could probably quench it in vegetable oil. Make sure to normalize it twice. Then put it in the over at 400 for 2 hours, right? Or 300 degrees or 350, I don't want to get it to hot, you know I'm paranoid about blade being hot, maybe I look up how to heat treat 5160 in the oven, his is gonna be two handed, and I'll modify the golok handle eventually, to make it two handed, today was his birthday so I thought sharpen my other 12 inch tramontina to razor sharp, and a cheap pocket knife, gave him those, give him a large homemade strop, with compound, his mom got him a 30 pack of Budweiser. Got a couple of beers for those gifts I gave him, I used an angle grinder for the first time ever today. Got a video of it. About to up load it.

@ your hand slips when you’re choked all the way down while chopping? Not really designed to do heavy chopping while gripping just under the choil.

@wellregulated8725 thats the grip I like. If I was fighting with it, that's where my hand is gonna be. What if I need to chop them instantly? Maybe I'm not holding on hard enough, but it's a good design it definitely works, I don't know about the steel just cause I Compulsively. Never sharpen it. Did you read all my comment before? I know i'm the only one capable of doing really long comments. I get people's attention real well. I've been elightened by science. I know it gets people's attention. But maybe I'm a narcissist... freedom
