Just cancelled my FireTV soundbar order after watching this video review. I always expect more from amazon. Ordering only two(2) new Fire 4K Max Sticks 2023. Ordering a JBL soundBar 2.1 with Wireless Subwoofer instead.

Thanks for the review, I am moving away from a dual echo studio with sub system to a soundbar because of the issues with the echo home theater and was thinking about this soundbar. But will look elsewhere for an ARC input soundbar

Wait what’s wrong with the Echo Studios with Echo Subwoofer? I don’t have them but planned on getting them for a future Amazon-branded Alexa home theater system

@@kc310 has serious issues with staying connected, audio drops and you need to unpair the home theater, then force a full reboot of the firetv then setup the home theater again, this would happen daily, when streaming movies with atmos audio, the audio will get digital distortion and you need to reboot everything to fix it, sometimes only one channel is working etc. In the alexa app they now ask why you are unpairing with all the common issues as options so they obviously are aware of the issues.

What Amazon ought to do is find a way to use the Home Theater sound system with the Fire TV Sound bar. I have a Fire TV and 2 Echo Studios with an Echo Subwoofer. That would make it a true 4.1 surround sound system. I guess technically I have a 2.1 stereo which is good, but when I tried to hook up the soundbar it disconnected my Home Theater system. It really wasn't a good trade. But if the Home Theater did incorporate the soundbar, it would be awesomly amazing. Just something that Amazon might consider...

I'm trying to get rid of my echo devices because they keep losing signal, turning off, resetting, etc it's such a head ache and unreliable. But the Echo studio is an absolute beast when it did work. Echo 4th gen was really good as well just keep having issues unfortunately.

can you ajust treble and bass..also this is a simple plug and play for non tech people who want a simple set up..Bose tv speaker is a best selling soundbar, better sound but cost 279.00..thats amazon market, fire hd 7 has lots of haters, yet its a big win for amazon, hate or not amazon knows its market.

You cannot control anything other than bass. The EQ button only controls mid range clarity.

It's made for Amazon TV and streaming devices try it with the sound bar connected to one and see if you get a different result in performance and I'm curious what the results will be

All this soundbar needed is the ability to pair other Echo speakers such as the Echo Dots, Echoes, Echo Studio, and/or an Echo Sub with any combination to get a minimum 5.1 or 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos/DTS:X/Surround Sound experience. Hopefully the next generation will deliver more options for higher channels.

It’s not a surround sound and it’s not a subwoofer. It’s a sound bar. If the dialog is important it’s great. Very clear voices. This guy is comparing it to boom boom sounds .

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Amazon trying for the low-hanging fruit! For the same price you could get a set of Logitech speakers WITH a subwoofer, definitely would sound better and an actual stereo field sound. Plug into your TV's headphone jack and you can use all that Alexa, Virtual Surround and EQ modes that the TV already has built-in. Why pay for stuff your TV already has built-in. Cheap sound bars are such a scam. Get some Logitech speakers! Company's charging for what TV's already have, especially some of those same TV companies. It's like the TV companies are charging you twice!

Not on their website but the Logitech Z533 is on clearance at staples for about $60 which I bet would blow this soundbar out of the water.
