I still find it so bizzare that people throw away vinyls. Glad they have found another home with you.

FYI, you forgot to screw in the transport screw on the turntable mechanism. (It is mentioned in the instructions.) Doing so allows the turntable to rest on springs which help absorb vibrations and reduce the chance of the record skipping.
@ryancurtis19965 жыл бұрын
VWestlife is the turntable loose so to speak ? Like it goes up and down? I thought mine was broken when I received it today
@vwestlife5 жыл бұрын
Once you screw in the transport screw, the turntable mechanism rests on springs to absorb vibration, so it will have some bounce to it.

Still have mine. Got it 2 years ago. Works great. Don't like to read negative comments about the Victrola. Geez people should research on google first before purchasing a turntable. Instead they buy a victrola record player & end up bitching & complaining about it. I bought it because I'm on a budget. I can ALWAYS save & upgrade to a different record player later. But for now the victrola will be fine for me.

My parents got me this for Christmas the same year I'd bought a Crosley one like this for myself. I made the unfortunate choice to return mine and keep the one they got me. The cd tray has never opened, but the little cover opened enough for me to put a cd in. It continuously loops as though it's opening/closing, and I miss that cd ☹️. The screw for the CD player stays loose and everything I play is very wobbly, but thanks to the magic of gorilla tape, I've been able to at least correct the sound. Thankfully I'd bought the little Crosley cruiser several months prior, so I'm able to properly listen to records. The website for innovative technology products hasn't existed for a long time, which I understand - if I'd crafted an incredibly low value, shoddy, inferior product that didn't perform the basic functions as it's designed, I would be embarrassed also, although I wouldn't tuck tail and run. I'm sorry for anyone else who was duped into thinking this would be anything other than utterly useless, and I hope you're using Crosley or some other reputable brand that manufactures quality products!

@raynamerrill8763 Жыл бұрын
not sure if you’ll even see this…but does it still work? i’ve had it for at least 5-6 years now and it’s skipping all of my new vinyls and the turntable seem to be out of place which is causing my vinyls to wobble significantly (which is prob what’s causing the skipping)… the slot where the tone arm should be or whatever is like lifted and basically out of place
@jeremiahsalyer77849 ай бұрын
He didn't screw in the screw like it says to in the instruction manual. Mine seems to be skipping a bit unless it's the two vinyls I tried.

Ate-Bit Dave You are wrong man! it has a cheep 1$ plastic cartridge of piezoelectric type, model Chuo Densi made in china! needle is crap, work normaly for about 100 hour, not more! It track grooves for 5-6 grams and act like grinder for LP.... total sign is crap! it seems you have not enough information about quality made turntables, otherwise you would not make this video add for crappy builded machines...
@vwestlife6 жыл бұрын
Vinyl records were originally designed for a tracking force of 6 grams, so these players are fine. The sapphire stylus (needle) they come with does wear out faster than a diamond stylus, but as long as you replace the stylus before it gets worn out, and also keep it clean, your records will be fine.
@bailey95215 жыл бұрын
george kolbaia LPs were designed to be played between 5-9g most of the needles that come on these players are diamond. It won’t mess up any records, there’s a video of a man running a record 40 times ranging from 5-20g and the record still play fine.

You did a bg mistake by buying this crap machine. it can not give you at list a minimal. entry level sound quality for LPs, so you can not imagine, how should a LPs must sounds. This is grinder for LPs. Tt use very cheeply builded table made from plastic, having a no counter weight, anti-scate, strob light, speed control, and crappy needle cartridge tracking on grooves at 5-6 grams will destroy your LPs much faster! For cassette section - it will be better, not to write anything about it - CRAP! CD - is OK, but speaker quality just sucks! Overall - Entire Crap Machine Sucks!

@georgekolbaia42466 жыл бұрын
@@lugardboy Audio technika LP 60 is a best choice for entry level. It is a perfect machine for price. It cost around 130 USD and will not destroy your records. Plus it sound very decent if coupled with decent amp+speakers. AT LP 60 has a built in preamp, sow you can connect it with active speakers directly. I will not recommend this "all in one" crappy machines, reason I mentioned above in my comment!
