UNBOXING AND TESTING - Wish multi fuel camping stove (diesel)

In this video I want to show you my new multi-fuel stove I bought on Wish. I will use it a lot in the colder winter months while carp fishing. When it is cold outside, it is difficult to use regular stoves with a gas cannister.

Diesel is good dependable. I use it in the old optimus no 00 Slightly cooler burn but good for cooking. You don't need to have it full flame

Ok so the double feed pump. I wish msr would get on that feature. Think I personally would rarely use it. Would be cool for the option though. But that stove there. Wouldn’t of paid $2 for

It absolutely does not work with diesel based on your video..... You cannot cook with those yellow flames. The amount of soot will be very messy and you won't yet nearly as much heat as you want

Hey there, I agree that diesel is not the most efficient and cleanest fuel out there, but it worked to get something cooking and it worked just fine to show how the stove works.

you never preheat with diesel/kerosene. You allways use denaturized alkohol. You wil not get a high enough temp for the diesel to vaporize, Hence you do not get a clear blue flame, as well you wil also get a ruined burner in the long run clogged up with soot if yo dont do it right.

Fiberglass wick and chafer fuel and just hold it 2 minutes before using it for ignition. Then just snuff it. Very clean and cheaper

Good review, thanks. I presume priming with diesel left a really sooty stove? I prime my petrol MSR with meths to avoid this nasty mess. I wish my msr whisper light worked with diesel.

This is my first stove and I have to say you are right! Diesel leaves a nasty black burn on your stove after usage. Petrol or ethanol works better and cleaner.

@@bert_carplife Petrol is bad too. Leaves sheets of soot that blow if and sticks to your gear; impossible to remove. Put me off my petrol stove. Now I carry a small bottle of ethanol just to prime; love the stove now. Also means I can use my tiny alcohol stove as an emergency backup

I have a cigar shaped hip flask with a wick and chafer fuel. Much longer lasting and cheaper than meths. Still clean

Dag Gert, met MSR heb ik geen ervaring. Dit lijkt wel een goed toestel te zijn voor de prijs en alles zit erbij: reparatiekit, mogelijkheid om 2 vuren aan te sluiten, mogelijkheid om gas te gebruiken...

Can you put in waste oil like motor oil ?

@@bert_carplife I got one now, when you add 30% gasoline it works with diesel, engine waste oil, if you add 50%gasoline it works with hydraulic oil and transmission oils, doesn't work with vegetable oil tho, it remains so thick it basically cloggs up the hose The pump handle is weak, flimsy, badly cut threads, all else is ok

I know diesel is nog the best fuel to use in this kind of stoves but I think it makes no difference to regular diesel.

This kind of oil furnace is not welcome in our (China) here, can not be separated to control the size of the fire, poor safety! Our high imitation Of Sweden's integrated oil furnace price is their fifth, but the performance is not inferior to the original!
