Unboxing and using a Danby 50 pint dehumidifier

I use the controls on the dehumidifier to adjust the humidity levels that the unit will operate under ; empty the unit manually when the bucket fills ; show the continuous drain output; and connect the automatic pump to drain when the dehumidifier is full.

I just bought the 22 pint model and I think it's loud, but yours seems to be worse than mine...and the pump is even LOUDER! Did you happen to measure the decibels? Are you supposed to run these things when people are around? I mean, even 48dB are unbearable after a while!

After three days I bought this crap back. It runs continuously even once it reaches the set humidity. It’s also very loud even on low fan setting.

@@catrage5824 it lowered the humidity . Once it reached the set point it doesn’t turn off making the timer useless.

Is it in continuous mode? Is timer mode only available in continuous mode?
