Use needle nose pliers to line-up the tips of the E-clip with the groove/slot on the post. Then with decent pressure, it slides over and literally clips to the metal post. Best of luck.

Holy moly! I’m a 53 year old woman and just put mine together. This helped. I live in the high desert of Texas. Loads of rocks, cactus, stickers. I just gave it a spin and after 15 minutes my arms, legs, and what used to be my abs were burning!!! What an intense work out. If I can make myself do this 5x a week, I’ll be kicking asses and taking names!! 🤣👍🏻

Thanks for showing us how to attach the handle to the mower in an easier way. The way it says to do it in the instructions is way too difficult. After trying the manufacturer's method unsuccessfully, I did it your way and it was a breeze! So glad I found your video! 🙂 (I also loved the bird songs in the background, Cardinal and Blue Jay among them.) 🐦

@@papacreaky First thank you for video, but mine came with no instructions, the above statement is correct, where do you attach the handle to the mower, your video hides it and i have no instructions or illustrations, I see 4 or 5 agree, can not see where to attach in your video, just saying, but thank you for video, I am not at all slamming you, just hoping you can help

@@ForBow6969 If you didn't notice, he disassembled the handlebar and attached it to the posts as single pieces then reassembled the handlebar. Attaching the whole handlebar to the mower is a royal pain and this method is miles easier.

If u haven't found out out there are 2 little protrusions that stick out on both sides of the inner wheel underneath the blade. Slide the handle onto both of the protrusions then lock in place with the e rings they provided.

Anyone struggling with the e-rings: Put the bar on the 1" orange cylindrical rod inside the wheels. It just kinda free hangs there - this is correct! Set the e-ring in the groove, so that it balances with the bottom open. Tap once with a hammer. They're locked into place! The foam handlebars were much more of a headache. You have to twist them on. Twist the inside half first, then twist the outside half. Repeat ad nauseum til flush. 😅 Happy mowing!

I found this video to be helpful BUT be forewarned folks - attaching the handle to the reel part is difficult, makes me wonder if that's why the video doesn't show that step. I am an average size female with average strength and I had a hell of a time making that happen. I won't embarrass myself by telling you how I did it but let's just say - it required another tool to get the job done. Also didn't read all these comments before assembly so I had to figure out that attaching the handle part to the reel was best done before building the rest of the handle. Good luck everybody and give yourself a pat on the back for being kind to Mother Earth by using this oldie but goodie equipment!

Hi, this is from my description on the video. “**I showed how to set up the handlebars prior to attaching to the mower. However, the handlebars should be attached to the slotted posts with the two E-rings on the mower assembly first. This will ease attaching the upper handlebars with wing nuts, for final construction.” The holes at the bottom of the handle bar assembly fit over the posts then the E-clips/rings secure the bars to the mower. Use needle nose pliers to line the E-clips with the groove/slot on the post so it slides over and literally clips to the metal post. I didn’t show that part up close mainly because it’s the first video I’ve ever made and didn’t move the camera to zoom in, but I do attach it in the video starting @3:04. You’ll see me install it with my multi-tool. Glad you finally did it!

The instructions are crap so I have to look for videos... Well, this one helped me discover that I put the handles together wrong, so I can fix that. But I still don't know how to attach the handles to the mowing part because I couldn't see what you were doing there, the camera angle was blocked. which means I have to look for more videos or figure it out on my own 🤔

This makes doing the yard a whole lot of scissoring fun.🌼 allabout.wiki/American You must grease it every single time you use it. Just grab your spray grease and go to town on the thing prior to each grass cutting session. You will not be sorry! The grass gets sliced very well. Just be aware that this is a good work out because you need to go over your yard in every possible direction to get it looking like an electric or gas powered mower look. If you are okay with it just looking decent, you can get away with doing it with one pass, but we usually go one direction then like a clock go around the yard until it's done. The height adjustments work well when I skip a week or two. Then just bring it down a notch. Very handy! Be careful of to tighten the screw knobs before and after each use or you will end up searching the lawn for them!

@Psalm91ArmorUp3 жыл бұрын
@@susanbrown7938 There e-ring has the slightest give as it spreads apart sliding through the grooves and over the metal post. The clip should secure itself with no extra tightening needed. Maybe if I have time I’ll make a quick video of attaching it. BTW this is another account, I’m also the owner of papacreaky. For the missing ring, you can probably find a duplicate at most hardware stores.
