Your video is really good information, I have quick question is it have normal medicine like cold and flu and cough and some antibiotics is allows with dr prescription. Or better I not carry ? If I carry medicine what I have to declare? Yes or no . Because question is have you bring any medicine more than 3 months and without prescription, what is my answer no ? Right ?

There is no issue with normal medicines. Just tick no and you good to go if supply is not more than 3 months. I just came back to nz yesterday and it took my only 10-15 mins to cross customs and biosecurity. Thanks for watching video.

It's always worth checking because Australia, New Zealand, and USA have slightly different rules with medicine. For example when going to the USA I showed/declared 2 medicines and had printed prescriptions. I was asked if I had prescriptions. I said yes but was not asked to show the prescriptions. On returning to NZ I said nothing to declare because the medicines were under a 3 month supply. For Australia I think you're meant to list the medicines on the paper arrival card.

It depends on many factors like time of flight arrival, if there is something to declare. So the time is vary from one to another. Average time you can say from off the plane to exit the airport will be approximately 45 mins to 1 hour.

Yes, after you pick up bags from baggage carousel then they need to go through X-ray machine, which is called biosecurity check here in nz. X-ray or scanner identify any prohibited items in your bag. And you can be fined $400 if you didn’t declare something, which is not allowed to enter nz

Yes, if you unsure about anything you need to declare or not then just declare it. To avoid any unnecessary fine.

Everyone must fill declaration before entering the nz customs. You can do it online on nztd app or paper based at the airport.

Once you exit biosecurity, how do you get to a New Zealand domestic flight?

Follow way out and you have 2 options either 10-15 mins walk way or take the bus to domestic terminal. Please follow signage or ask anyone for directions.

Yes, a free inter terminal bus operated every 15 mins between 5am-11pm. Bus leave from Stop B at international terminal transport hub. It’s pretty easy to find it. Follow way out signage and that will take you to transport hub.

Quantity is very limited for bringing in for personal use.Check new zealand customs page for accurate infomation.If you fail to declare any item and you are found out you will be fined ,possibly jailed and will be checked every time you enter the country.
