The reason why the petite doll and the ken don't have flocking is because the EU accepted a ban on glitter and small particles substances, such as the one used for flocking. If you look on the back of the boxes you will see what the original hairstyles would have been.

Oh I didn't know about that. That's a pity we won't get any more flocking then. I wonder if they can come up with a different way to do really short hair that would be allowed.

Yea, I got some new Barbie outfits yesterday & decided to use the braided doll to try them on. Not the best choice, as I had to be really careful,like you said with the velcro. I managed without getting snagged, but won't be using her to model clothes again ...😉

Oh I'm glad you managed to keep her hair safe from snags! I'm thinking I might try stick to clothes either with no fastenings or with poppers as I just don't trust myself!

Actually, 23 is the 4th Lina sculpt used since the series started. You forgot PTML Happy Birthday doll. And the 2nd blonde as well.

Bonjour Nixie ^^ J'adore cette nouvelle série ! =) J'ai déjà la rousse, qui est ma préférée, et je les veux toutes (mais pas maintenant, elles sont hors de prix pour le moment (et/où en rupture de stock lors de mon achat) ^^" Puis Tasha ^^ Je les trouve toutes magnifiques ! Même si le rouge à lèvres de Tasha est abîmé, j'en suis désolée pour vous oo" J'aime aussi toutes les tenues. Quoique, la combinaison n'est pas très flatteuse, et le top jaune est un peu voyant à mon goût ^^" Ayant vu la vidéo de MyFroggyStuff, je suis d'accord, Toya a superbement réussi le nouveau look de son Ken ! Hi Elhinor, It's lovely to hear from you again! The red hair doll is pretty! I do agree they are quite expensive, they've gone up in price from the other waves which is sad. I've been very bad spending too much recently on my dolls... You're right with the jumpsuit, it maybe wasn't the best shape on her. It made her hips look quite wide which I've never noticed on previous petite dolls. I think with the yellow top, if it was paired with different trousers it might be better, although being that colour it does look like fluorescent safety wear! MyFroggyStuff did make his hair look cool, I think she often has spares of a lot of the dolls though which gives more freedom to try out different styles. I would worry I'd mess up my doll and then ruin my only one :( All my new dolls are out on the coffee table next to me so I can get to know them better! I hope you have a really lovely weekend too! ☺

Bonsoir ^^ J'ai reçu la 21, 23, et 24, qui sont actuellement en promotion sur Amazon, et j'ai les mêmes soucis que vous. La blonde a aussi les yeux très décalés, la brune a un oeil énorme, et les lèvres aussi un peu mal peintes. La curvy a un visage si maigre ! Je ne comprends pas, ils doivent avoir différents moules oo" C'est choquant avec son corps curvy, j'ai donc pris le corps de ma 59 mtm (joueuse de volley ball) qui a le même teint, pour l'échanger et c'est mieux, mais c'était bien la peine d'en faire une curvy x) Donc je suis déçue, je renvoie la 21 et 23, et je vais attendre l'écoulement des stocks pour les racheter, et sûrement aux USA ^^" J'ai aussi, enfin, reçu la sirène aux cheveux violets, absolument ravissante, mais qui est bien moins ronde de visage, que sur la photo du modèle. J'ai aussi vu sur les photos des acheteurs qu'il semble bien y en avoir deux modèles de moules différents oo" Trop de déconvenues et de joie en deux jours, c'est trop pour moi ='D Bonne soirée Nixie ^^

Hi Elhinor, Oh no I'm sorry to hear your dolls had issues. I think you're right to return them. I recently got a doll and her eyes were about 2mm lower than where they should be so she's heading back to Amazon. It's such a pity, and especially with these dolls which are meant to be nicer than your basic models and as such are more expensive. I really hope you can get ones with better faces as it does seem there has been a print issue with some of the dolls. I think quite a few people have swapped the curvy to have the standard body. I don't mind mine too much, but I can see what you mean about the face shape. I'm happy you got the mermaid, I do wonder if they sometimes take the photos before the doll is properly finalised, either that or they just heavily edit the photos. If I'm buying a doll that's been out for a while I often look if anyone has posted photos in their reviews to get an idea what the doll really looks like. I really do hope you have a good evening and enjoy the dolls that you've kept ☺

@@NixiesToybox Merci Nixie ^^ J'ai regardé également les retours des nouveaux propriétaires de cette série, mais rien d'alarmant n'était signalé à ce stade oo" J'ai réfléchi à ce que vous disiez à propos de faire connaissance avec vos poupées, et je me suis rendu compte, que je fais plus ou moins la même chose. Je les place à côté de moi, sur mon bureau, je les regarde, change leur pose ou tenue, et j'améliore mon opinion à leur sujet (notamment pour une nouvelle que je voulais depuis des années, mais dont le visage avait été changé) =D Bon week-end, prenez bien soin de vous ^^
