I really like the pink power suit look. The nighttime one is okay, but the business one is iconic Barbie. I never would have thought to add the additional pieces into Courtney’s world, but they look great. The girl that you put the hat in at the end (in Courtney’s world), the hat made her look like Tiffany in a music video.

@@melangellperry5984 the night look grew on me after recording but the day look is instantly adorable. Haha because I grew up in the 80s, I’m trained to see what suits Courtney’s world. Oh and funny thing about that custom, she reminds me of Debbie Gibson aesthetically, but now I’ve dressed her like her rival Tiffany oops!

I'm smitten with those pink and white flats, too!🩷Paired with the pink suit, it looks very grown up 60's also! That two karate diamond ring should be on her left hand so she can play pretend engaged! But, she will be keeping her job after the nuptials so she can maintain her independence! (of course!)😄 I would guess she must be an accountant with that massive calculator in her hand! And with the briefcase filled with very important papers!🤣 Thank you, Blaine! I think overall, this was a cute design for AG, and I hope there are more Barbie outfits to come!👍

I can’t unsee the neck joints. Like I have and love Caroline, but I can’t look at her too long because of the cut of most of her wardrobe. The day version of the outfit looks great, but you aren’t the first person I’ve seen talk about the quality of the hat. I do think it fits very well into Courtney’s world! She definitely would’ve been a Barbie girl.

@@settheworldonfire94 exactly! That’s why I’m apprehensive about taking Caroline out of her meet outift: I can use the ribbon on her bonnet to hide all the unsightly cloth and joint parts. omg i love that white hat on your 80s inspired doll the bracelets and earrings too just so cool and different, it made me subscribe ive just bought some BFC ink dolls as i like articulation, but i know its going to be hard to fit shoes and clothes to fit them, i better learn to sew

@@DisBlaine yes the quality of that hat is bad for the price, I could never afford American girl dolls, BFC are skinny but I fell in love with their faces, we have designafriend in UK but tbh I want trendy grown up clothes not frilly pretty things there is definitely a gap in the market for high fashion 18 inch doll clothes,, I used to reroot vintage pedigree sindys so I tend to buy second hand and make them my own I love a rescue job x

You could put the scarf over the neck and shoulder joint.

If you put it the opposite way that you'd imagine the center across the neck joint and then each strap down the back it'll cover both the neck joint and the shoulder joints... And that is kind of an '80s like idea of how to wear a scarf

I love the outfit I am putting it on my 127. She will be black Barbie or Christie. Growing up I always got the Christie doll since that was what was available as a doll of color. The outfit is true to the original Barbie. I want I get a second set but waiting as I purchased a lot with the Black Friday sales. I dream of Johnny suggested using another ag pink tule skirt to use with the night outfit. Yvette looks great. I might put one of the looks on my makeana that I took out the hair. The hat won’t fit on her head I need a hat pin to keep it on. To use the hat with Makeana I need to use the one that still has braids.
