Unboxing Beis Mini Weekender Convertable

Took this to Los Angeles - I honestly wish they made the Mini Weekender deeper without the detaching bottom as well OR as an option with a removable bottom. I needed ALL the space just for the plane ride. Kinda sucks when you books are unaccessable and the economy part of the plane is so slim, it was difficult sliding the bag across the row to get to the window seat. (yes some economy is THAT small!)

I’ll be honest… After using the Mini convertible and carrying it with me on a plane… I really want the other one as well. The hardest thing was packing everything into this, and realizing that you have more space at the bottom that you can’t actually access! I found myself wanting to just have access to all of my stuff while sitting on the plane and you can’t do that with the mini weekend convertible because it would be way difficult to remove the bottom while you’re sitting in a cramped up plane. I feel the regular mini could work better on a plane ride, whereas the convertible would actually work better if you’re just doing a weekend road trip somewhere or an overnight stay .

The weather was a perfect 70° in the morning and up until about mid afternoon. Not to mention the views of driving through the hills down Mulholland Drive between Hollywood and where my nephew lived. I got fully reminded of why people move to L.A. ….that’s why I had moved to LA for 3 years in my 20s. Now that my nephew lives there I plan on visiting at least two times a year or cause it’s an easy quick weekend / flight from Austin ✈️

I’m confused is this the weekender mini or the weekender mini convertible ? On the tags it says weekender mini? I’m trying to buy one so I’m curious what the difference is? Thxs 😊

I have the Weekender Mini Convertible…in the video it shows I can completely remove (unzip) the bottom portion for a smaller tote bag section.
