I actually like all of Billlie’s fansongs a lot more than most people do (they’re often considered the worst songs on the album, probably bc a lot of people just don’t like ballads) but I think they cracked the code with various & precious bc it’s 1. not a ballad and 2. fits the rest of the album sonically a lot more
