Update: I've been using the vacuum now for a few weeks and it's still working great. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a decent vacuum for a reasonable price.

I don't recommend intentionally using water with it. Since the device isn't fully waterproof, it could pose a shock hazard. If there's water on the floor, I recommend mopping it up first prior to doing any vacuuming.

Hi Connie, as far as I know it is only able to vacuum, it doesn't have an option to blow air out like a shop vac.
