Next time you order, you can use the search bar to order specific parts of the curriculum. I ordered the Bookshark published materials and the science kit from them and thrifted the rest.

We are using Sonlight science C for the first time. They are set up the same style as far as what comes with and how it's set up. I think they are actually the same besides the faith to secular portion! So I'm excited to see any other videos you plan to do with this! Thanks for creating! I really enjoy all of your content and I'm glad I found your channel recently!

110% with you on needing more open-and-go, all the supplies gathered, type curriculum for science for next year. I'm trying Nancy Larson Science 2 this summer. It's also one that sends you a giant box of all the things! Hoping it works for us and I'm looking forward to seeing how Bookshark goes for you! Maybe I'll try that one next if NLS is a bust.

I'll have to check that out! Hope you have a great year :)

Hey there! I was getting ready to film a review for BookShark Sci C and I wanted to check in and see how you ended up liking NLS??

Hey, just stumbled upon your channel looking for information on Bookshark Science Level C. Thanks for the unboxing! I think this solidified my decision to go with it this year. We are moving from Studies Weekly Science to this curriculum. I loved how simple Studies Weekly was, but the website was down periodically when I needed to make my weekly printouts. I'm hoping this curriculum with help us move past some of those frustrations.

I;ve not used BookShark, but from what I see in other videos, you should have received a binder from them to put your papers in. Did you only purchase the science portion? It looks good!

Yes I only purchased the science. I skipped their binder. I want a cute one lol

Hi, we are going to use book shark this year, under the PEP FL scholarship. We are still on the fence, B or C. We will do the whole curriculum, except maybe math, we are still debating Saxon or Beast Academy. We would love to know if you loved it, and anything you may have hated. Our biggiest problem and this is with any curriculum we look at is what we really level wise need. So if you can answer, were you able to go deeper for your 9 year old and make it easier for your 6 year old, as they say you can. Did your 9 year old want to speed thru cause it was to easy? Our little one is different, not disabled, but has an EP plan, he is a genius. Last year in brink and Morton he entered as a K student and exited as a 3rd grader, but we still think he is going into 3rd, because he only was there for 6 weeks, school wants him as a 4th grader next year. He is 5, he definitely reads chapter books, like Magic Tree House and such. So we are thinking start 3rd and go up. We may end up doing 2 grades in one year (especially in math), but he is 5, so handwriting is still at 5 year old, spelling more like 1st grade but yeah he can do way above his age and grade. What do you think, is this a curriculum that is good for deep dives into things and explore more on his own. We look at it and think it will work, just still not sure if we should go B or C or D. Any I put will help.

I did a follow-up video that's a detailed review of Book Shark Science: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHy7lp93o6djf7ssi=dSHHQt2uQnLGe-w4 I can't speak to the entire curriculum, as we only use their science. I found that my oldest was mildly challenged by the lessons (just enough), and my younger daughter was much more challenged, so I mostly did a lot of scaffolding for my younger daughter.

Hi, thank you for this video ! I was wondering if you ordered the science kit twice? For two kids? Or is it enough to use just one box with two children?
@OdetoAbode3 ай бұрын
@@katrienjanssens1350 I just ordered one box, since we do the experiments together. They usually have a little bit of extra supplies, for mistakes, too. So it's plenty.

I want to know how you make it happen with a baby! I have an almost 7 year old, 8 year old, and 2 year old. The 2 yo is a monster during homeschool LOL

It's so tough! And I've heard the toddler season is even tougher! At 10 months, my baby is happy to be carried or worn while I read to my girls or help with their lessons. I also try to assign as much independent work as possible. Often, I find myself playing with the baby and teaching at the same time. It's really hard, that's just the plain truth. We save hands-on stuff for during the baby's nap or for times when my husband can watch the baby.
