I am told that Bulova put. Accutron movements in some oceanographers,so wouldn't it have been more"archival"if Citizen/Bulova put some Alpha movements in some "archival Oceanographers? What do you think?

Yes, I would have preferred that the Archive series be true reissues with movements as close as possible to the original. The Sellita and Precisionist movements, though they are quality modern movements, seem like a shortcut.
