@@lowtiertactical7701 good to know the older models required a battery powered mic.

@@walterlee762 Unless my mic is battery powered and I don't realize it. I just plug it in and it works. Those comparisons in the video. Kind of show the differences. Especially with that fur piece on. It was very windy. But I really had to speak up to hear me over that muffling effect.

I just tested the G50 with a non-powered mic and it worked! I have an older Vixia HF R60 model that required a powered mic in order to work.

@@Bo_SH just yesterday I did some stuff on it. I had forgot to reclip the mic facing me. I was filming a back yard waterfall with the mic facing the waterfall. but the sound of the water washed my voice out. But i filmed it again with the mic clipped on facing me. It was as if I dropped the narration in with the video.

Are you happy with the camera still?
@lowtiertactical77013 жыл бұрын
Yeah so far It's working for me. I did get to try it in low light. But during Christmas time with the lights hung on the house. I probably should post that too. Just have to get used to the microphone. I need to turn it around to pick up[ my narrations. When I'm standing behind it. But yeah every time I look at it. I'm happy I bought it. Which is more than I can say for a lot of things. I still wondered if I should have bought the larger sensor model. But no I'm still happy I got this one. I usually record in well let areas anyway.
