I bought a 1911 type pistol for kid and the dovetail safety thing failed instantly now it doesn't actually do anything but doesn't affect the use of the pistol.

AW/WE mags are sadly not TM-compatible, they are too wide and they engage the slide catch a bit differently. Decent guns though, especially if you live in a warmer climate like I do and won't go crazy customizing/upgrading it. Put a TM-spec hop chamber and you can put TM-spec inner barrel and bucking to shoot heavier BBs, somewhat better range, and more consistent hop.

That is dread full the naff paintwork isn't even lined up properly with the muzzle. The weathering along every edge is to uniform and unrealistic. As for the weathering on the bottom of the barrel. you've fired it thats probably real wear n tear. Is the magwell relieved for CO2? Looked like it was just the grips not th eframe. If you want an Awesome 1911 look at a Western Arms, they are made of plastic ( with metal particles ) but they are amazing.

It's a nice gun. I'll give you that, but the engraving gives you no tactical advantage whatsoever. Edit: that reminds me, I wish there was a manufacturer that made the 1911 from MGS3 again.

WA made an MGS3 1911 but good look finding one. Its a fairly easy custom build though.
