great lil saw used mine first time today and like it better than the Dewalt fullsize i have. Havent seen leaky oil tank and it cuts like butter but definitely not made for larger limbs very pleased with it.

Many reports attest to oil leaking from the cap. Virtually all chainsaws leak. I have two Stihls that both leak, as did a Craftsman I previously owned. Just a fact of life. There are three easy ways to avoid the leak for this saw. 1. Drain the oil after each use. While it’s still warm, use a funnel to pour the oil back into the oil bottle. 2. Store the saw on its side with the filler cap up. 3. Buy an o-ring to fit in the groove inside the cap. (You’d think Dewalt would include that o-ring! It would probably only cost them a few cents per saw and save their customers much aggravation.) I’m about to buy one of these but I have yet to decide between the 8 inch and 12 inch model. I have many other Dewalt 20v tools, along with several batteries and chargers, so buying Dewalt again is a no brainer. The oil leak is a non issue and is easily remedied.

I know you mean well, but unboxings are pretty much a waste of time. We all know how to open a box and remove the contents. What we want is to see it in action and get your opinion as to power, usefulness, safety, etc. Oh, and you could use better lighting, though your audio is very good. Cheers!

And the reason it is leaking oil is? Oh that's right because some sloppy Joe can't remove the excess oil out of the container or always fills it up to the brim not thinking of how much oil it will actually go for the job... Why mine is not leaking oil? That's right because it is stored without it...
