Hi! I just wanted to say, I really enjoyed your review :) A friend told me just now I had to see it - and she was right. I love your energy ...and your HONESTY! I've been reading the comments too and getting great feedback, both the positive AND the negative. One thing though, I saw people saying they wanted to see Peaceful Evening completed so that they could judge Dreamer Designs' landscapes in general - Please dont hold my painting up as a kind of litmus test! Yes, it's over-saturated and somewhat stylized and unrealistic, but that's a personal thing. I'd hate to be the cause of turning people off an entire company, LOL! It's nothing like the amazing bold landscapes of Ann Marie Bone or Chuck Pinson's romantic-realism, for example, both of which I've seen completed samples of and are mind-blowingly beautiful! Anyway, just wanted to say that! Loved your vid! I'll be keeping an eye out for more! - Liam

Wow, hello Liam Kelly Thank you for watching the Video. I appreciate your feedback, I Love your image which is why out of the entire Site I choose your artwork to showcase. Unfortunately yes, I do believe it to be over Saturated which will of Coarse make it loose some of the detail, But because you personally requested it, I will go with the Koi for this Experiment. I love Chuck Pinson's work, just not from this company, Diamond Art Club charts and colors are way better so I think i will stick to them for his images, I haven't seen many Ann Marie Bones that I can remember so maybe I will go check her out. These Reviews aren't to down play the beautiful art that these artist put so much work into to create, it's to show how thos this company interrupts them into Diamond Paintings, i am actually shocked you commented seeing how last time I tried to inform of of their artist as to how the image looked when completed, I was ignored 🤷🏾‍♀️ but as Promised I will do the Koi for Comparison but at some point the landscape will be done. Thank you again for your comment, I truly appreciate it.

@@MrsCoffee1 No problemo! I genuinely enjoyed your review and had a few laughs along the way at how you dont sugar coat things! As for being ignored by Dreamer Designs - I can only say that's a shame as I find them genuinely passionate about self-improvement. Perhaps your critique at that time, came across as a little more ...unhelpful than you intended? Or they may even have simply missed it? Who knows. I'm by no means an ambassador for the company but from working with them I've found them to have real heart, when it comes to the DP community, to the point where they wont even get caught up in some of the mud-slinging that goes around. I tip my hat to you, as you obviously know your stuff when it comes to the industry, but I just wanted to say, dont write off their Chuck Pinsons til you see some of the finished canvases! Maybe, but she admits that. My only worry was when I saw so many commenters asking to see Peaceful Evening finished so they could gauge DD's landscapes!

Everything looks good to me (packaging, drills, symbols, artwork are fine) except for the color saturation. They really need to consider toning it down a lot. I guess it takes a certain taste for these.

Looking through some of the comments, I seem to be the unpopular opinion here. I actually think these canvases look good. The symbols look clear to me and i dont use a light pad so thats good. Im absolutely IN LOVE with the new packaging! About the saturation, im wondering if its overly saturated or if they just purposely dont use art that has muted colors.. 🤔 i will vote for the koi fish (2) because i like it better and im curious about if uts pixelated or not

My issue with this company is they only seem to post their 4 and 5 star reviews. I gave them a very honest, not unkind 3 star review after being emailed several tines to do so. Instead of posting it they offered to send me a free kit. I asked them why they didn't post it and they said they'd look into it. It's still not posted. I accepted their offer and got a different kit which has the same issues as the first. I won't order from them again as it just seems a bit sketchy.

I like the handle on the box and the reusable bag. The wax containers are also nice. I dont think I see anything that would make me use them rather than DAC, which is who I order from and am very happy with.

I would go with #1 peaceful evening as the background behind the cottage seems a little bright. Maybe it will look better when the drills are on! I have to agree though a couple of the symbols are a little fuzzy but nothing major. I look forward to the final result and your thoughts when finished. Love your honesty as always 💖🤗

Before they came out with 2.0 version, I wasn’t keen on their price for their size kits mainly because of the blurriness of symbols and pixelated images. Now, it’s because its very pricey but also because the over saturated colors which really hurts my eyes, either canvas for my vote although I really wonder how #1 would blend and appear once done. And the symbols on that one really did appear blurry to me and I have my glasses on🤓

I'd like to see #1 Peaceful Evening complete or as much as you can complete. It looks extremely bright (saturated) to me and the canvas doesn't look like the photo. Curious if when the drills are on it tones down the color. And yes, I see fuzzy symbols too. Koi fish looks like it's meant to be colorful.

Canvas weave is tighter, which helps with clarity. It does sound like Diamond Dotz stiffer canvas when you were rubbing it. It's been a few since I did a DD but I recall color of symbols didn't match the drills which was a mind f$#@, unless I am mistaking them. Grumpy cat was such a disappointment because his nose was orange.... I'd like to see #1 done as it looks like it might end up looking like a fairy tale house from a kid's book.

Great review. I love your honesty. I have not been impressed with the drills from Dreamer Designs. And yes! The symbols are fuzzy. The green arrows are driving me nuts. It looks as though the symbols were laid down too soon after the color run and it bled a little. My drills are cupped, have a lot of trash, and the static is the worst with drills popping out of the bags as soon as I cut the bags open. Tip: breathe into the bags. A little humidity helps more than dryer sheets. I did three kits I bought over the last year and a half (2021 and to May2022). All of them had issues. The drills do not slide on the glue. They behave as if they are grabbed by the glue like double sided tape and won’t move. They are still attached and have lots of tabs and cupping. It is too much work and not enough fun. The art is wonderful, but the kits are not fun.

I would love to see you do #1 the cottage. I think that one will be much more dependent on good detail rendering and color choices. It doesn't really matter what the image on the canvas looks like as far as color, it all depends on what color drills they chose to put on it. The fish one can be more saturated in color and still look good.

I never ordered from them, but I saw some Chuck Pinson who I love. For the price, they have to match and/or exceed DAC'S quality in my opinion. Don't like the sidewalk in Peaceful, so I'd like to see the Koi worked up.

I was hoping that version 2.0 Dreamer Designs continually look to improve quality and QC. Unfortunately, even though the colors on Mischievous Wolf Grin are great and the symbols are clear, the symbols on the key don't always match the canvas. Just need to keep an eye out as I'm working 👀

Drills are good and I’m not having any problem with symbol clarity but I wish they would get rid of the white symbols. They seem to bleed and look a bit fuzzy. Have fun with yours😊

I see the fuzzy. And the over-saturation. I had Twisted Blossom version 1.0, and the symbols were good, canvas was good, drills were good, and I like the colors - even the saturation was good for me because - hello - purple is my favorite color. But this V2... I don’t think for the images I’d like to buy, that the pixelation is better enough for me to buy... it looks like they made the canvas bigger but forgot to reduce the area of the image to fix the pixel/blotching issue. :(

There are a few images I like on their site, but I can't buy anything right now. Which is a good thing, because I would like to see the final reviews once the images are completed. Another KZbinr has a couple images I liked, but will be watching for both of your reviews closely. As far as which one to do first, I vote for whichever one moves you the most.

Do Peaceful Evening. The red in the sky looks a little too bright on it and i would like to see it done. I think they put way too many AB drills on the Lucky Koi. It's not just highlights for that, it is whole entire parts of the canvas. Maybe that's just me though.

Looks somewhat fuzzy, but on the one I bought from amazon, symbols were so small and blurred I have to use a magnifying glass. I just thought that was how all Diamond Paintings were. Lucky Koi

Looking through your lens... I see vast improvement in their symbols. I struggled with some of their symbols on the one I did for them. I was able to complete it, but these symbols look MUCH better! Please do the Peaceful Evening one, I was slightly concerned as to how the cabin part would look completed haha. Yep! I am using you as my guinea pig on this one LOL. I would like to see (#1) the cottage one done first only because I don't think it's gonna look good and I'm curious. They need to go from one color to the next a little more gradually and add more confetti. I think the koi fish will look okay with the bright blocky color. For me the reusable bags are not that reusable given the size and shape and are a waste along with the ribbon. Why don't they try being original and and using environmentally friendly packaging. Just my two cents 🤷

The Peaceful Evenings image looks super saturated in the sky. I would love to see it completed to see if that level of saturation works. I look for realism in landscapes. Color very much matters and that background is way too bright.

Yeah, it’s a teeny bit fuzzy but still readable to me. I think it would only become a problem when I work too long (I always do lol) and then my vision gets blurry and then they’d be hard to read

Some of the symbols are a bit blurry, but nothing I couldn't handle. As diamond painters, I know almost all of us have seen worse. However, for as much as these canvases cost, they should be clear as crystal.

I am working on a Chuck Pinson canvas from Dreamer Design 2.0 “Life Above the Fray”. It is coming along beautifully. However, I did have to guess at a symbol because of the fuzziness on the canvas. The diamonds are so beautiful! As of now I am very happy with it. Thanks for the review.
