Looks weird but fun. Cheaper in the US rather than Europe (France). here 140 €uros BNF, 170 €uros RTF at this time. Wanted to buy one RTF as it comes also with RealFlight Trainer Edition demo time (100 minutes), but changed my mind and buy the RealFlight Trainer Edition simulator bundle with the SLT6 remote (90 €uros), to train myself and kids. But definitively will buy it and/or the 1.1m version, let's see. Will you plan to change the battery plug for a more standard one like JST ? out of the box it's a PH 1.25 .... which doesn't offer lots of possibilities in term of battery brand. Keep going !

You just had some great questions and some things I would like to address in a video I will post today or tomorrow. I do have both the RTF and BNF version I will compare! thank you and stay tuned!

We have a vid going up shortly. I address the battery plug preference and the 1st radio preference for beginners. The only thing I don't like about the SLT 6 is you can only use it for the simulator and just this 1 plane (unless I am mistaken) I do think it's a great beginner radio, but you can't grow with it. no switches for flaps landing gear etc. Also, most if not all Spektrum planes use dsm protocol and the radio only does SLT protocol I believe? The battery's PH1.25 are around 2 US dollars, so I haven't found a reason to change the end plug yet like the bigger battery's/ Planes. thanks for the comment. stay tuned!

@@seanpettit6410 you right about SLT only protocol for the SLT6. is it supposed to worlk with some UMX like the Slowl Ultra Stick aka SUS as it comes with on RTR bundle and also the pprentice STOL S 700mm. Here in France, I think ph1.25 battery are much expansive but didn't look closer. I agree with you that's a basic radio but 6CH is enough for lot's of trainer planes, then moving to more with flaps, expo and so on. Thanks for replying, I really appreciate your feedback.

This or the night vapor?
@seanpettit641021 сағат бұрын
The advantage of the night vapor is that you can fly it in your home. You would need a bigger spot like a gym for the umx slow stick. THE umx slow stick can handle a bit more wind than the vapor.so I guess it would be what you are looking for. The vapor is very delicate also.My opinions are that if you need to make a choice and you don't care about flying in your living room,I would choose the umx slow stick. Tough choice, but I would choose slowstick. Thanks for the comment!.
