Just watched the run videos of this boat. can you give us any insight? what do you think of it? how is the quality? what kind of setup are you running in it. I'm just about to drop the hammer and buy one but I would really love to hear what you think about it and what kind of batteries you are running, and how long a run time you are getting. thank you

It’s a very nice boat, I would have it carbon inlaid as a suggestion. It definitely needs a little counter weight in the front end because it wouldn’t take much wind to pick it up and make it flip. Don’t run it without taping the hatch (it comes with some clear scotch tape). I know this from trial and error and a brisk swim in cold water to get the boat. I added a piece of a pool noodle in each side of the hull for extra floatation with a 6oz weight inside each piece of the noodle. SeaKing rtr 6v 120amp esc running with (2) 22.2v 6 cell 5200mah batteries. Run time depends on your throttle speed. I’d say I get at least 17-20min at 75% throttle speed.

@@chefchef183 yes. It’s so fast you have to be careful. I still only drive it when it’s calm or low winds and will probably continue to do so until I feel more comfortable.

We like it. It’s very fast. Too fast for us right now. It’s supposed to do 100mph+. While I don’t know if it in fact goes that fast, I know it is much faster than my custom built spartan rc speed boat that goes 63mph.

Thanks! I wasn’t feeling that way when a gust of wind hit and It flipped and I had to strip down to boxers and swim out in the lake to get it (in cold weather and in front of many strangers) 🤣
