Unboxing Eco Worthy PV combiner box

What's going on everybody Rob here with a little video on Unboxing this Eco worthy solar combiner box. This is a four string combiner box for solar panels. When I say combiner box you have to have a certain amount of panels to equal a voltage for your system. And what this combiner box does is it combines for strings of solar panels together. This is a Eco Worthy combiner box. I purchased this Eco Worthy solar combiner box off of Amazon. This is a four string solar combiner box. I am running a 48 V solar system. With this combiner box it can accept up to 2300 W two of 48 Volt system. It does have a ground connection. And anything electrical I swear connecting directly to the ground rod. So I appreciate this does have a breaker with the breaker that goes directly to the ground rod. I do say with solar systems you really have to do your math. Because I believe sometimes when you finance a complete solar system your monthly payment is going to be more than what your electrical bill is. They say after 20 or 22 years it will pay itself off. But by then you will need to put a new roof on your house and has anybody ever had the roof replaced with solar panels? I really don't know. So little by little piece by piece I'm putting together a small solar system. A small solar off grid system. I plan on using it to see if I can power five fish tanks with it but also what I'm using it for is a like a backup generator. The 48 V battery will hold power and be able to have a backup capacity to run a TV and keep our refrigerator on if the power should go out. So this is Unboxing the Eco Worthy solar combiner box that purchased off of Amazon

I had the same box. Lasted less than a year. The 63A breaker burned out on the negative input where it piggybacks with the SPD.

what is the main breaker for? there's a fuse for each panel.... thanks

It’s a switch to isolate pv from your charge controller or hybrid inverter
