These are great products. I've purchased a lot of 18mm napolionics painted the sides and changed the command groups to proper minis as didn't like the flags and further disguise the 2D look. Look absolutely brilliant and have enough figures to play large wargames - probably would have taken years to paint up otherwise.

oh thanks for sharing! Never knew these existed, 18mm looks fantastic, might look into their Napoleonics series, 28mm is to large for my taste. But 18mm looks perfect and I can use my 15mm scenery with it too :)

The WoFun Peter Dennis Collections are excellent and a great way to build forces for periods you may have wanted to try but we’re putting off by the prospect of painting. I’d endorse everything Gerry said. I know have WoFun Armies for both sides for the ‘45 Jacobite Rebellion in 28mm as well as in 18mm for the English Civil War. Currently building two forces in 18mm for the Wars of the Roses using the new “Test of Resolve” rules by Tim Couper and David Knight. Had my first order delivered, punched out, based and in my first game within a week of ordering. My latest batch of reinforcements arrived in 5 days. Excellent service from WoFun.

I much prefer Peter Dennis’ style in the PD range but it’s a matter of personal taste.

@Gerry mcCabe i not sure it will end your search but the only other Napoleonic rules I've used are chosen men from osprey, and a rule set called "Snappy Nappy" which is pretty large scale

@Gerry mcCabe Have you tried General D’Armee by Dave Brown published by the Reisswitz Press arm of Too Fat Lardies, they are my go to set for Napoleonic Brigade/Division level games.

Great video, showcasing WoFun's excellent figures. I have the 28mm Napoleonics and 18mm Punic Wars ranges done by Peter Dennis. WoFun have 3 ranges as such Peter Dennis, Vyacheslav Batalov's and their own. They are also a great company to work with and they have helped me with some special sprues with just 18mm Punic command figures to wrok with my ancient rules.

Picked up the renaissance set so I could try Italian . Fantastic looking figurines and an easy to learn ruleset. Recommended these to anybody starting out in the hobby , or looking to start a new historical period as I did.

The SYW flags are very innacurate, the Austrians in particular, some remedial painting required.
