The droids being backwards could easily be fixed by building them the correct way :D and the troop deployment mechanism should be easy to fix by replacing the "one long technic pins with stud on the end" with "three long technic pins with low friction" and plugging the rods with the droid attachment into the open ends. the orientation should change according to gravity then.

I actually bought one of these and it went together really well. Droideka had a loose peice but other than that the B1s were quite nice and the carrier is really put together

My little brother got this set and I must say it’s not bad. Carrier works well, droidekas built well, droids are alright. Some of the heads have problems connecting but they still work. 10/10 if you’re looking to build an army

I have this set, there are some modifications that you can do to make work better and be less flimsy. Change the pins that hold the droid racks with 3 studs long frictionless pins. I know they rare in the light gray color, but you can kinda make it look good with the tan ones. Also, If you have bushes, you can cover them. Also, the curved slopes in the front look better if you put the 1x1 plate in the recess, rather than in the middle.

Also, later I've seen this set on Rebrickable, and was a paid one. So yeah, that's the kinda messed up thing with these unofficial builds, sometimes they are taken from independent designers... All that being said, I'm still really glad I've got this set hahah

I really wanted the 2015 set, but since most second hand listings are too expensive and Bricklink seemingly never has any UK sellers with it in stock, I guess the bootleg is my best bet. For the comments about him building the droids wrong, that's how the instructions say to build them to put them in the ship, I think it's so when they are in the ship you see the face and arms clearly, I built them correctly and put them in there with blasters no problem

I don’t really get the point of real lego or not, I’d collected lego up until lego Star Wars clone wars sets ended for the most part around 2014 and they started putting just OG sets and shit sequel everything. Sold all my clone figures except one phase 1 for a memory but besides I can get so many nice looking clones and prequel sets online from other people that look just as good as good if not honesty better than brand lego sets for a normal price. Lego as a company just ain’t it for prequel fans.

As well as more clone wars battle display sets, 327th and Galactic marines in general, and more separatist everything! It’s just been extremely frustrating for the past 8 years or so but with the atte it’s good but then again, no magnagaurd or no crab droid. In the end it’s just a toy I have to keep in mind 😅

Your first grip. Isent there fault its Yours. You have them on backwords. The stud goes on the back. It always has. Every lego set has them positioned the game does. The stud on the back is for a backpack oe thi exact design. Your one of the few people who put droids torsos on Backwards and it is WRONG
