The video assist currently doesn't support BRAW recording for sony cameras. It is a prospective update in the future tho

Yes currently only BRAW is being pushed out to the FX6/FX9. Still waiting for additional news regarding the FX30

Yes unfortunately no batteries come with device only a dc charger for the monitor

I got NP-F dummy to USB-C battery to connect to a powerbank. Works well
