Wonder if we couldn’t use these for Bolt Action. German army took some time to get fully mechanised. If it ever did…
@BattleBunkerHQ Жыл бұрын
Good question. With a little bit of converting I don’t see why you couldn’t, the German army used horse drawn guns etc throughout the whole war 😁👍

Great looking kit and loved the paint job. The paint job on the drivers checked shirt looks amazing. I was wondering how you did the shirt and the wood on the wagon ? :)
@BattleBunkerHQ Жыл бұрын
Hi Aled, thanks for watching. I’ll give a brief account of how we did ours. It was all undercoated with Colour Forged Wight Bone rattle can. The Wagon was washed straight over the undercoat with Agrax Earthshade on the wooden parts. That alone gives a good washed out wood effect. The wheel rims was Corvus Black. The metal work was Corvus Black with Leadbelcher on top as a highlight. The brass bits was Corvus Black with Balthassar Gold highlight. The canopy was airbrushed with Karak Stone on top of the undercoat, then washed with diluted Agrax Earthshade and then dry brushed with Screaming Skull. The wooden hoops inside was painted with Steel Legion Drab. The shirt on guy was base painted with P3 Cygnar blue base, then highlighted with P3 Cygnar blue highlight. The Chechen was simply Vallejo model air white in thin stripes.

@BattleBunkerHQ thanks, that is brilliant :). Sounds like a great way to paint wood and going to order one of those rattle cans ready to give it a go when the rainy season ends :)
