please compare the extension vertical to the expansion vertical. i wanna know if there's a difference other than the box design.

Expansion and Extension are interchangeable terms. At first Ravensburger labeled all their expansion/extensions as Expansions. About a year ago they switched over to the term “Extension.”

@@MaskedMarble yeah but if you google "Gravitrax Expansion Vertical" and go to "pictures" you'll see an expansion vertical with a different artwork on the front. I just want to know if the Pieces in it are the same as in the Extension Vertical we all know.

@@hifive789 Yeah, Ravensburger did the same thing with the Speed set. I have 2 Speed sets, one with the green box and the other with the blue box. Same set inside. The set number of the "Expansion Vertical" is 268160. Same as the Extension Vertical..
