I had an Antigua strat that I traded a 1976 Gibson Firebird for. Which I had traded a 1978 Telecaster for. Those were the days!

I like that Esquire. What a looker. It's a shame there are no contour cuts. I've seen them before on Squier Tele bodies. I never cared for those hard edges. I suppose I've been spoiled by Strats.

What’s the weight of the Strat like?

For me the the Strat is a good weight, at under 7lbs (6lb 14.9oz) compared to the Tele Custom Antigua which is definitely feels a lot heavier and is 7lb 5.9oz. The Esquire is the lightest at 6lb 10.8oz. All three are made of poplar. Hope this helps.👍
