Creating beautiful hanging baskets with artificial flowers is a delightful way to add everlasting beauty to your home & garden.
Here are some steps to make your own artificial hanging basket:
Choose Your Basket:
Start by selecting a suitable hanging basket. You can find various styles, sizes, and materials, such as metal, wicker, or plastic.
Prepare the Base:
Add an oasis blocks for anchoring the flowers.
If using oasis blocks, cut them to fit the basket and secure them with wire. (Do this step if you’re using live flowers too)
Add Weight: (optional)
Place some weight at the bottom of the basket to prevent it from tipping over. You can use sand, rocks, or plastic bags filled with soil.
Select Your Artificial Flowers and Greenery:
Choose a mix of colorful flowers and trailing plants. Popular options include roses, wisteria, sunflowers etc loads of beautiful flowers out there.
Add some artificial ivy/fern or other greenery to create a lush effect.
Arrange the Flowers:
Insert the artificial flowers and greenery into the oasis (or moss).
Follow the step by step video, or start at the bottom, add the greenery, then add the flowers. Either way works perfectly.
Drape wisteria or other trailing flowers over the sides of the basket.
