It is a good game and ive got plenty of the HoN range and also HoS. The ability to field multiple different historical units in different scenarios without having to paint thousands of models, is fantastic. I still collect thousands of models for wargame systems, but enjoy this game alongside those.

Thanks for the overview! I wouldn't call this a "strategy" game. I think it is more of a "light tactical" game.

@@danacoleman4007 In strategy games you have a massive impact on the outcome (mage knight, through the ages) and in tactical games you have a moderate influence as there is luck involved (catan, HoN, small worlds). At least that's how I see it :P

@@danacoleman4007 Think of “Strategy” as the goal of “Where you want to get to/what you want to achieve” and “Tactics” as the “How you want to achieve your strategic goal”. HoN is a tactical game and I would class it as a mid-weight game - if Memoir44 is a light game - as it does have quite a bit of depth to it.
